What are quilts?
Quilts are blankets, table toppers/runners or wall hangings that are home made. They are all pieced from a quilting pattern and then machine quilted and hand bound.
What is Machine Quilting?
Machine quilting is done when you have finished piecing your quilt top from your quilt pattern. It binds the quilt top to your batting and backing fabric using a unique quilting pattern design. We use a Gammill Optimum with Statler Stitcher to do all of our Long Arm Machine Quilting.
What is Hand Binding?
Once a quilt is pieced and machine quilted, it then needs to have a finished binding added to the outer parts of the quilt to finish the product. The binding fabric is first sewn on the front of the quilt and then folded over and hand stitched on the back to give you an invisible look to your finished binding.
